Why Not Rent a Crusher and Self Perform

On-site crushing is a complex and specialized profession. Crippen Crushing has gained our specialized knowledge by crushing more tons than any other contractor our size utilizing exclusively track mounted crushers.

Renting a crusher and trying to self perform often sounds like a great idea, as long as you don’t let the details get in the way. First you need to find the correct equipment for your intended needs, not what the dealer has available and convinces you it will work just fine, and then hopefully it will be delivered on schedule as promised. Then, try to find one of your guys that’s able to understand how to operate the equipment, not to mention getting the maximum production, or working through how to troubleshoot when the inevitable happens. When it does, you then get to wait sometimes days for the dealer to arrive, troubleshoot, and then order parts. As all this is happening the schedule has no option but to again get pushed. At the end of the project you will realize the cost of tying up your valuable manpower and equipment, on top of believing what the salesman claimed his crusher could have done if only the guys would have followed his suggestions, do the actual time delays and costs prove that doing it yourself was not such a good idea. Few will admit that renting a crusher was, not such a wise choice after all.

We understand that it's YOUR unique and diverse requirements that drives the need for a talented and professional on-site crushing specialist. That’s why we are obsessively dedicated to solving YOUR rock or concrete problems, ensuring a timely and on budget project.
